Whole lotta nuthin goin on
Alrighty this is going to turn into quite a long post, i can feel it already, lots to talk about but nothing of substance. So you can just skip this potentially rambling post, or grab an ice cold pepsi, sit back and enjoy.

Okay first on the agenda the reigning NBA MVP, Canada's own Steve Nash! woohoo, now i know there is some debate that shaq daddy shoulda been awarded the....award. Unfortunatly for the big aristotle i'm not supporting his camp, and maybe i'm biased, and maybe nash had more to work with in phoenix, but damnit look what he did with that team. They went from 5th worst to best in the league and Nash was the only playing in the entire league averaging over 10 assists per game. I'll go on about this more later if necessary, but for now its just congratulations to the first canadian, third whitey and sixth guard to bring home the mvp.

Next on the list is the knife sharpening guy. whats up with that shit, driving around in his truck clanging his bell, i keep picturing grown men running down their driveways, arms full of knives calling out to this guy. but i don't see that happening, all i see is the neigborhood dogs going insane....and an insane dog is not the pretty picture that movies make it up to be....damned hollywood

Moving right along, we come next to GOLF! yeah golf. got out this week and played my first round of the year, and played early enough that we had to wait for a frost delay to get out on the course (for future reference "frost delay" is golf course code for the cashier is hungover and hasn't made it in to work yet). I had a fairly decent, consistant round (with the exception of a quadruple bogey on the 12th hole). Played well enough to win (with an 81), and not lose any balls, and thats all that i'm out for (that and the elusive 72).

From the game that I dominate and onto that one that owns me....poker. Now if I had been told going into this tournament that I would be the second player eliminated, i would have shrugged and said 'yeah probably'. If i also had been told that I would be happy with how i played, i might not have bought into that one so much. But thats just the way it went, i played the way i wanted to and for the most part it was working, unfortunatly sometimes you just don't have the cards. Shout out to Dennis, Jamie and my bacon-mate Steve for making the final table.

Okay how bout some tv talk now. Third Watch had their series finale on friday, I didn't really get hooked on it until this season (the 5th), but fortunatly A&E plays seasons 1-4 daily at 5pm. So i got caught up quick, i dunno if anyone reading here watchs Third Watch so i won't go into any story lines or anything. Instead i'm gonna talk about the tight grip that telivision has on my life, when the last show was over i was sad...not because of any plot twists or anything like that....just sad in general that this was a good show and it wasn't going to be on tv anymore. Is that messed up? does anyone else feel like that? and its not just third watch, its just about any show or event. when its over i feel its almost like a death in the family (not quite, but i can't think of a better analogy). I feel like i didn't appreciate that times when it was around and that i took it for granted. the ultimate event that brings out these feelings is the olympics, they're only around for two weeks every 4 years, and when its over i'm always like 'man i really shoulda watched more of that'. damn i am a rediculous kid

The Hyundai Tiburon is Canada's most stolen vehicle. I don't really have anything to say about it, i just like knowing what the theives are after.

Soooo, how bout that gomery inquiry....... c'mon Harper call this damn election already, daddy needs a new pair of shoes!

And on that note i'm out

P.S. Skinner says the teachers are going to crack...purple-monkey-dishwasher
