Evil Fans, A Good Movie and Baseball I recently installed a ceiling fan in my bedroom, and it wobbles on the highest setting, either because I'm incompetent or because my ceiling isn't level. Thats all fine and dandy 'cause I run it on the middle setting most of the time and its all good. But every once and a while it makes this kind of clicking noise, so I look up at it to see if its wobbling or about to fall on my head or something and the noise stops. I go back to whatever it was I was doing and the clicking starts again, I look up, it stops. This goes on for about half an hour. Then I just sit there staring at it waiting for it to start again, but it won't, it knows I'm watching. So I've reached the only logical conclusion.....I have an evil fan. Went and saw Mr. and Mrs. Smith last night. *****Again if you don't want me ruining movies for you stop reading here, 'cause I'm totally going to give away the ending***** I give it the good ol' two thumbs up. It had everything a good action movie needs, explosions, gun fights, car chases, more explosions, Seth Cohen as 'The Tank', good one-liners and a couple more explosions. My only beef with the movie was that my favorite new actress, Jennifer Morrison wasn't given any good lines, and when you put any female actresses in a movie with Angelina Jolie shes gonna make them look like dogs, its a shame really. I also thought they were gonna go with the 'Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid' ending, which woulda been kind of neat to see, but they took it the other way, which is cool too cause it leaves the door open for sequels. Tom's team the 'Scarborough Sirens' went absolutly ape-shit on me last night, picking up home runs from A.J. Pierzynski, Richie Sexon, Derek Jeter, Tori Hunter, Cliff Floyd, Andrew Jones and Jim Edmonds (with 2). He put up more homers in one night then my team has mustered all week....thank goodness my pitching has held up so far this week. Adam Everett of the Houston Astros stole home last night, how cool is that?....just thought you should know. And to cap off this post here are the top 5 baseball related sites you should check out, 'cause they rock. The Dugout: Its all about the Astros, so you know its good. Miles from Fenway: The Stories of a Red Sox fan in New York City. The Hardball Times: Tons of baseball information, updated daily. The Soxaholix: A daily comic strip following the Red Sox. Toronto Blue Jays Rumors: Who doesn't love a good trade rumour. P.S. If anyone knows of a good Blue Jays blog that is updated regularily, hook me up, 'cause I've yet to find one that I really like. P.P.S. Check this out too:
