Why Do I Love This Season? I really shouldn't. The Astros are getting their asses served up to them almost daily. The only teams that lose more then the Astros right now are the 4 fantasy baseball teams I'm managing this season. Pitching intensive drafting seemed like the genius idea of the year at the time, with Prior, Wood, Gagne and Harden all DL'ed for an undetermined amount of time and Zito, Hudson and Mulder not pitching like I predicted maybe I should taken some sluggers on these teams. Having made 45 'moves' across my four pools, I've thankfully picked up some players to help me out that I either hadn't heard of before the season, had underestimated the returns, or just felt sketchy adding them to my teams. So I'd like to take a second to give a shout out to Brian Roberts, Clint Barmes (damn shame 'bout those groceries), Pat Burrell, Rob Mackowiak and Shea Hillenbrand. I've uncharacteristically (damn thats a long word) only made two trades so far this entire season, one thats definitly working out well for me (Gave: Prior and Hudson, Got: Manny Ram and A.J. Burnett) and one that I think I'd like to have back (Gave: Sosa and Matt Clement, Got: Travis Hafner) We're two fifths of the way through the season and the Jays are tied at .500 with the Yankees....hahaha New York you suck as bad as we do....hows that $200 mil payroll workin out for ya?? I had more things to say, but I'll save some thoughts for another day....take er easy folks.
