I was just gonna put this in the comments on the last post, but then being the resourceful kid that I am decided to turn it into a post all on its own. So heres my top 5 in no particular order, with some sample lyrics:

Okay this song doesn't really have any lines that stand out on their own, because the whole song tells a story. You kinda need to hear it to know what I'm talking about...so go aquire it, by whatever method you deem appropriate.

Okay I can hear you guys already, 'what no Biggie?!? no Pac?!?' thats right I like the rap industry today, when you hear people complaining about how rap music sucks so much compared to the 'old school', I will guarantee that it isn't me you hear. I started listening to this stuff with Black Rob's Woah in '98-'99ish so I have no real background in the 'classics'. For my money the two best lyrical artists out there are Ludacris and Eminem. That being said I suggest you actually listen to those 5 songs, because if you haven't heard them before just reading the lyrics doesn't do them justice.
