I Need Your Help!
But before I get into why I need your imput allow me to pat myself on the back for a bit. You see in case you didn't know, I'm awsome. Maybe not at everything, like math or vegetable eating or making simple decisions, but pretty much everything else. Especially fantasy pools. You may remember a few months ago when I was all over the start of the baseball season. Well after months of hard work and a little bit of voodoo I'm in a position to finish the most dominant season in fantasy sports history. Unfortunatly this post is also probably going to end up doubling as the ultimate jinx. Anyway, out of the 4 pools I joined I finished 1st for the 'regular season' in both private ones, plus a 4th and 6th place spot in the two public ones. Now after two weeks of fantasy playoffs all of my teams have made the finals and there is the chance that I could walk away on October 2nd as the champ in 4 separate pools! Wish me luck.

Alrighty, now that I've gotten that out of the way here is what I need from you. I've got to make a presentation on some biological topic, but because I'm a clown and can't decide which topic I want to present I putting the power in your hands. C'mon internet! So here are the options you get to choose from, and choose wisely, we don't need a repeat of the Atlantic Salmon massacre of '02.

1. The economic and ecological impacts of an invasive species.
An "invasive species" is defined as a species that is
a) non-native (or alien) to the ecosystem under consideration and
b) whose introduction causes or is likely to cause economic or environmental harm or harm to human health.

2. The biological control of either an invasive or pest species.
Biological control is defined as "the purposeful manipulation of natural enemies to reduce pest populations"

3. A case study on the life and work of a famous figure in the scientific world.

I've got more specific topics for each of those options, but I don't want to taint the vote in any way. So have at it folks! Let me know which option you think I should go with, and if its not too much trouble why you chose what you did.
