I need your help...again. Thanks to everyone that gave their opinion for my presentation, invasive species it is. Now I've just gotta come up with a specific species to mutter about for the next couple months (Sorry Steve, I can't do humans...well I 'spose I could, but we just cause too much shit to cover in a proper presentation...maybe I could teach a whole course or something...). I'm now done 3 of my 4 hockey drafts for the season, with the biggest of the four happening tomorrow afternoon (and yes you can expect to hear about how all my teams turned out). With only 10 days to go I'm getting pretty excited for the start of the season. Plus its only 9 days til the end of the MLB regular season, and I'm currently leading 3 of 4 playoff races. Hopefully the 'Stros can hold off the Phillies for the next week (St. Louis could be the deciding factor) and make it back-to-back Wild Card Champs. Damn its a great time of the year! So heres where I need your help again, I want to buy an iPod. Sure I could just click one of those flashing banners on lots of websites and get one free, but that just doesn't give me the same satisfaction as making a purchase. So are iPods as great as the commercials would have me believe? Should I buy something else instead (digital camera, awsome printer, booze)? Basically I want you to convince me to buy one, but if you're totally against them I want to know why. So c'mon, help me spend some money! Comments:
I bought a mini in February and it broke sometime in July. But never fear, it was covered by Apple's warranty so they gave me a free one, no questions ask (just remember to keep your receipts and all those good things). I have the older 4 hour battery life but I've heard the 18 hour life actually lasts that long. As far as program you use to get your songs on the machine, I kinda like it just because it converts files automatically.
apparently 1 in 3 nanos have defective screens. the screens are easily scratched and in some cases, they just break in half thanks to it being so slim. but they are pretty!
