I think its time to get rid of the DH
Well the Chicago White Sox just won the ALCS to secure their spot in the World Series, where they will hopefully be playing the Astros. Probably the most impressive stat comming out of this series was that the White Sox starting pitchers went 4 straight complete games. Thats great and everything, but wouldn't it be way more impressive if they didn't use the DH. I know I bitch about it all the time, but c'mon, let them swing the damn bat! Thats what makes the NL great. Of course as an Astros fan I'm biased, but watching the National Leagues series with all the substitutions and pinch hitting is what makes it great. Would Chris Burke be the hero that hes turning out to be if they used a DH? Well maybe, but thats not the point...is there a point? I dunno I think I'm starting to go crazy anyway.
