October Fever
I still haven't gotten around to reproducing last week's lost post...partly because I've been busy and partly because I'm just a lazy bastard. I was also planning on having a baseball postseason preview post, and considering three of the four series have already started it looks like I missed the boat on that one too. Here are my official picks for the divisional series winners anyway:

Houston
St. Louis
Boston
New York

Then I've got the Astros over the Red Sox in the World Series.

The best part of the end of the baseball regular season: With the Astros making the playoffs the sports shop in the mall decided to order extra hats for all 8 teams that got in. So this means I'm finally going to be getting the red and gold Houston hat that I've been looking for since I don't even remember when.

The worst part of the end of the baseball regular season: I lost 3 out of the 4 pools I was in over the final days. Fuck. Oh well at least the 'Stros are in and I didn't get shutout.

Tune in tomorrow to see what my fantasy hockey teams will start the season looking like...thats right, I'll be posting on back-to-back days...haven't seen that in a while. I might even get off my ass and redo that other post before the weekend...but I just bought NBA Live 06 so I wouldn't hold my breath or anything.
