So Angry
Aight I gotta bitch for a little while, so as always feel free to just skip over this post.

I had a midterm last week, and for the most part as I was writing it I thought it was pretty fair. With the exception of one question that asked me to define a term that I was sure I had never seen before in my life. Then we get the midterms back and the prof decided not to count that question because only 2 people in the class were even close to answering it correctly (It turns out that it was a trivial point made in a guest lecture). So thats all good. Then in the next lecture we're going to go over the tests and address any questions that people felt were marked unfairly.

So after looking over the exam I see that I lost marks on a question that I gave the textbook answer to. Naturally I would like some clarification on what I lost marks for. But before we can get into the short answer questions we've gotta go over the multiple choice stuff. Now I'll admit I wasn't happy with the wording on a lot of the multiple choice questions because they allowed for multiple interpretations of what the possible answer could be, but I was willing to let that shit go. Apparently some people were not, and so they debated with the prof for a considerable amount of time. As time went on the prof was clearly getting more and more upset with people smack-talking his exam. So he made a couple smart-assed remarks towards the students. This is when I started to get mad. Okay fine you're upset, I get that, but don't shit talk the kids for raising legit points about your questioning methods. Thats just unprofessional.

Then he pulls this one out: "Alright, enough! If you want to resubmit your test to have the multiple choice questions looked at then I'm going to include the question that no one got right." What the fuck kind of bullshit scare tactic is that?! You can't take a question off because I was unfair and then put it back in to keep people from complaining about something else (the question that was taken off was worth considerably more marks then the multiple choice). I wasn't even going to have the multiple choice questions looked at but I was furious that he would do something like that.

Now at this point the class is pissed, and hes pissed and everyone is just sitting there all angry at everything...and we haven't even gotten into the short answer questions yet. They didn't go over so well either, there were a lot more smart-ass comments made by the prof towards the class. But I'm pretty sure I'll be getting the marks I deserved out of the whole ordeal...but damnit I know I'm just gonna be angry for the rest of the day. Plus we all know that anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering, and thats the path to the dark side.
