March Maddness? More like March Insanity!
Hey guess what? I've got another pool you can join! Tournament Pick'em in Yahoo, all you've gotta do is pick the winners. If you've never done one of these before, or if you've never even watched a NCAA game it doesn't matter. From my experience its the person with the least amount of knowledge that always wins these things. Or if you've ever wanted to beat me in a pool so you can talk shit for life, this is probably your best chance because I don't know anything about most of these teams.

Just to help you out, here are some of the ways I make my picks*:

I like to pick the 9th seed over the 8th almost everytime, its the cheapest upset you can find.

I almost always have at least one 12th seed winning the first match.

I like Xavier to win at least one game because they make me think of Professor X.

I always pick Duke to get upset in or before the Elite 8, because fuck Duke thats why.

Gonzaga always makes the Elite 8...usually the Final 4, and I've probably got them winning too.

I hate Wake Forrest because thats where Tim Duncan played and I'll be damned if I have to pick them to win more than 1 round.

I like teams like Marquette and Villanova because their names are fun to say.

If a team has a cool name like Jayhawks or Wolfpack if I have no feeling about a game that can be the difference maker.

Also, teams with names likes Illini or Orange lose points because those names suck.

So if you want in on the 'maddness' the league ID is "74455" and the password is "5555". Then when you go into work or school on monday you can bitch about how busted your bracket is. Thats the beauty of the season. Almost forgot, you've gotta have all your picks made by noon on thursday, so get on it!

*I haven't looked at any of the brackets yet so who knows how my 'rules' will hold up this year
