| Contributors weekly sizzle burnt toast Archives | Thursday, November 02, 2006 iPods at Work This article has angered me this morning. I don't even care about the main point of the article. In some workplaces I'm sure using the iPod (or other mp3able device) can make employees more productive, but like I said thats not why I'm here. Just read it and think about the 'statistics' that the article presents (don't worry there is really only two of them). Am I crazy or does that not make sense. If 1 in 5 people are using an iPod at work how can "just under a quarter of employees" be using their Ipods for up to 3 hours a day. Wouldn't that mean at least 1 in 4 people were using Ipods? I know I'm not a math whiz or anything, but I'm right on this one right? Fuck you article!

20% of people listen to their ipods. of that 20%, about 1 in 4 listen for upwards of 3 hours a day. just a bit odd in how they worded it...
"Woods Bagot, also found that just under a quarter of employees used their MP3 music player for up to three hours a day in the office..."Post a Comment It says up to three hours. So does that mean the other 75% are listening more than 3 hours? I would expect a better worded article from someone who has the title of "online news editor". << Home |
